Stamp Mill Building | Structural Stabilization

Stamp Mill Building

California State Parks requested emergency consultation for this historic stamp mill at Plumas-Eureka State Park, in Johnsville, California. The structure was constructed in 1876 and has been out of use since the 1950s. Recently the structure was exhibiting a partial roof collapse. Linchpin visited the building to determine that the leaky roof had led to deterioration of the structural system. As a temporary measure Linchpin designed shoring to support the building in its failed state while funds are raised to restore the building to its original condition.
