Janae Johnston, PE

Janae is a versatile member of the Linchpin team with design experience that spans from high-end residential projects to small- and large-scale commercial structures. She is skilled in high-level modeling of complex systems using advanced structural analysis software such as Risa and ETABS and has successfully applied these skills to numerous commercial and hospitality projects. Janae is particularly interested in unique design challenges that require innovative solutions, such as seismic retrofits and remodels. 

Notable Projects include: J Resort expansion and renovation, Liberty Dogs Veteran Campus, Dermody Properties Office Building (nominated for awards in LEED accreditation), and multiple custom residential A-Frame design with award winning architects. 

Janae is working towards her SE designation and LEED accreditation. 

She brings a unique background to the team, having previously worked for renowned organizations such as The Walt Disney Company and Tesla. Her passion for exploration extends beyond the realm of innovative design, as she is an avid hiker, baker and can give you recommendations on all the best restaurants in town!
