Juan Maya-Virrey

Juan is a skilled engineer with experience in a broad range of design approaches. He has designed timber, steel, concrete, and wood structures ranging from bus shelters to commercial remodels. He is proficient in Revit Structure and using BIM to collaborate with other engineers as well as multiple disciplines. He also uses RISA 3D to analyze more complex structures and develop plans to efficiently communicate construction requirements to the whole project team, and focuses on precise detailing to ensure clarity and a smooth construction process and thorough collaboration with architectural design elements.

Juan has collaborated with Linchpin team members on such projects as the new Marriott Residence Inn and the Crossing commercial upgrade and refurbishment, as well as multiple remodels and new residential projects in various communities in the Reno-Tahoe area and medical equipment anchorage for local hospitals.
