Lisa Hartley, PE

Lisa Hartley is a highly respected engineer in the Truckee-Tahoe region, having designed successful projects throughout the area over the last ten-plus years of her career. Her design approach emphasizes constructability and collaboration, and she is consistently recognized for her highly communicative approach, working with architects and contractors to adapt designs for field conditions and improved constructability. She is frequently sought out for repeat participation in project teams due to her responsiveness and willingness to work with contractors to solve problems collaboratively.

She has participated on project teams across the Truckee-Tahoe region, delivering the Liberty Dogs veterans campus, Cal Neva renovation, Edgewood Resort Expansion, and many other commercial, residential, hospitality, and industrial projects. 

Lisa is also dedicated to strengthening the structural engineering profession. As the local and national chair of the National Council of Structural Engineering Associations’ Structural Engineering Engagement and Equity (SE3) Committee, she actively works to improve the industry and support the next generation of engineers. She has also presented at regional, state, and national conferences on various technical topics, including a highly popular presentation on the technicalities of heavy snow loading and its design implications in the high Sierra region. At Linchpin, she participates on teams developing sustainable construction programs and AI use policies, helping to ensure that the structural engineering services provided are the most modern, efficient, and cost-effective available in the region.
