Mono County Court House

Linchpin SE provided the structural engineering design for the new addition and upgrades to the Mono County Courthouse. The team ensured to preserve the historic courthouse which is recognized as the sixth oldest continuously operating courthouse in California. The new building addition was created with architectural features that are compatible with the original building and the town’s character. The design responds to the limited budget by utilizing traditional materials in direct and uncomplicated ways, while articulating the building’s features to add interest and variety.
